- Hello. I couldn't think of anything clever to write here so I'll just go with the facts. My name is Eric and I created Can You See the Sunset From the Southside back in July 2005 because I'm the kind of guy who starts a good majority of conversations with, "So have you heard the new album from [insert sweet band name here]," and also because I didn't want my friend Jacob to have a better blog than I did. It seemed like a natural extension of the short-lived punk zine that I worked on back in the late 90's with my (now) wife.
