Meet business minds’ Dale and Eric Robinson who crossed paths with David Harper and Barbara Kay, veterans of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Dale and Eric were both raised on farms, but their careers took them into the world of business. Together, they built SPI Plastics – a manufacturing company in Shallow Lake, Ontario with partner companies around the globe. David and Barbara live at Stoneyfield Elk Farm in Meaford, Ontario. For 30 years, David travelled the world developing and testing innovative pharmaceutical products and Barbara worked in the corporate, investor relations’ sector for many biotechnology companies. Together, they worked at a Canadian pharmaceutical company researching and developing hyaluronic acid (HA) —an important component of Elk Velvet Antler. Today, David uses the same strict pharmaceutical standards while harvesting and preparing CanEVA products.
