- The CAMP RESCUE Disaster Relief Fund helps animals who are victims of disasters like Hurricane Katrina, Rita and other disasters. Camp Rescue is a non-profit organization committed to providing Immediate Disaster Relief for animals, without all the political RED TAPE associated with paperwork and getting the most out of PR. Camp Rescue's mission is, if animals cannot be reunited with their families, to find loving, permanent homes for any adoptable animal placed under our care and, in the interim, to provide safe haven and rehabilitation to those animals rescued from abusive situations. Animals we save are NEVER placed in facilities where they will be euthanized.
