Camp Galileo is operated by Galileo Educational Services, an Oakland, California based organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for young people to discover and pursue their passions. Through collaboration with premier organizations and individuals such as The Tech Museum of Innovation, Klutz, and Art in Action, Galileo Educational Services operates unique summer enrichment programs throughout the Northern California Bay Area.
Galileo Educational Services also operates The Tech Museum Summer Camps, offering in-depth science and technology classes for kids entering 4th-8th grade at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose. Past programs operated by Galileo Educational Services include Sally Ride Science Camp at Stanford University and Galileo Discovery Week in Menlo Park City Schools. Schools hosting Camp Galileo provide an enriching art, science, and outdoor experience to families in their communities and generate additional revenue for school initiatives through rental fees. If you would like to bring Camp Galileo to your school, please contact Tajalli Greengus at tajalli@galileoed.com. We are happy to provide you with references from schools who have hosted Camp Galileo in the past. Camp Galileo requires at least 5 classrooms and an outdoor recreation space for 5 weeks during the summer.
