Calpop hosts a large number of virus and malware dropper sites run by the Russian Zlob gang. A partial list of virus and malware related sites hosted by Calpop includes supersunnytube09.com, movfree.com, tube-work-sell.net, and 216.240.139.234/sutra/in.cgi, all of which are used to distribute the W32/Zlob computer virus.

Look these guys up and you will find they are listed in a LOT of places for BAD BEHAVIOR!

They are involved in ILLEGAL email HARVESTING! Plug any of their IP ADDRESSES in at ProjectHoneyPot.org and you will see they have been CAUGHT RED HANDED stealing eMail addresses from the web. And just what do you think they intend to do with all those STOLEN email addresses? Yep, wham bam thank you SPAM & SCAM.

If you don't think they are involved in nefarious activities, just look at who they associate with in their related links section.

(Its a data center. Some people that rent from us are not so good. When we find the people causing problems we fix it)

Great company.. Friendly staff.. Your nuts..

Don't believe the claim that they fix it... I notified them of abusive activities and followed up by providing log files with tons of evidence showing the bad behavior. Sure the receptionist who answered the phone was friendly, but that is as far as it goes, after that you get ignored. Try contacting them by email... you get directed to a webform that never gets acknowledged.

Yeah, I'm nuts when it comes to hosting companies who do NOTHING to help eliminate spammers from their servers and even more nuts when it appears those host may themselves PROMOTE SPAM, see CalPop Supports Paying Spammers.[1]

Of course you don't have to take my word for it, there is plenty of evidence available out there, just put calpop+spam into a Google Search and you'll get tons of EVIDENCE, all you need to do to find it open your eyes and look.
