Such comprehensive process of treatment helps to ensure that there are no bad impacts on the environment. For more efficiency Calpine mostly uses recycled water for cooling in its energy centers.

The approval to a project is not given unless the members of the community participate in the environmental workshops and public hearings for a detailed discussion of the processes of environmental review.
