- As with many cake makers who venture into the world of celebration cakes, Fiona initially started cake decorating as a hobby, with family and friends being the first beneficiaries. Her talent and artistic flair, along with years of experience working as a confectioner, and an increasing number of enquiries lead Fiona to see that there was a requirement for a high quality cake designer in the Aberdeenshire area, and Cakes by Fiona Barnett was established.
