Cable Educational Ltd was started in 1991 by two professional teachers. Realising that when staff in the department were absent the mad rush to find suitable material for the first lesson of the day was a real problem, they decided to do something about it. Having built an enviable reputation in secondary schools, Cable were also approached by the further education sector to produce training programmes and open learning packages for continuing education and training in the workplace.
