C. C. Cowan the Person
New York resident C. C. Cowan is a passionate author of several novels, poetry and short stories. He writes about strong characters that readers can identify with, however, the genius of his character delineation is owed to his ability to arouse a wide variety of emotions. Oftentimes the characters within C.C's stories have powerful personalities, yet still manage to have a thrilling charm about them. He may be the only African American author this year that has a book touching every major literary genre including romance, drama, general fiction, urban fiction, mystery and suspense.

Mr. Cowan is the President of CCP Publishing & Entertainment. Through this company, Cowan hopes to promote and educate the larger community about the cultural heritage of African Americans through poetry, writing, screenplays and other forms of entertainment. He hopes that this platform can help launch new comers who are passionate about presenting and promoting their culture in a positive light while avoiding negative stereotypes.

The ATA Book Club
The All Things Amplified (ATA) book club was conceived as a platform to connect and showcase emerging authors from all over the world especially African American authors. This platform gives book lovers an opportunity to share their views about issues they care about, that are close to them, in order to bring them together for a common cause, which is reading and writing. Book lovers and writers can intermingle here and share book reviews, recommend new books that they have read or simply spotlight upcoming authors. The club already has reached about 400 members from all over the USA.
C.C. Cowan also writes books reviews which he recommends club members read and debate about. Membership to the club is free for all and participation is highly encouraged even if you just want to join and read.
