Deluxe was founded in 1915 by William Fox when he created the Fox Film Corporation in Fort Lee, New Jersey. In 1919 Fox Film Corporation opened its studio in Hollywood at Sunset and Western. Deluxe Laboratory was built on the south side of the lot (Fernwood and Serrano) where the Hollywood operation still operates today.
