Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE) was formed in 1999 with $27 million in both public and private sector funds. BNE measures a series of indices to track progress in regional economic development. The BNE Index consists of six categories that reflect the movement of the entire Buffalo Niagara region: positive survey results, increase in business prospect activity, increased capital investment, increase in jobs/employment, increase in per capita personal income, and increasing population. BNE's directors - representative of the region's most progressive corporate entities - intend to achieve these goals by providing a seamless response system for economic development within the region by providing the following services:

Marketing & Public Relations - Promoting the Buffalo Niagara region for business investment and growth through a comprehensive public relations and advertising campaign including trade shows, print advertising, brochures, newsletters, etc.

Business Attraction - Provide market data and other information services relevant to business location decisions, including economic indicators, workforce information, industrial and commercial real estate information and customized business development data.
