Budgetsailing is represented by Karayel Yachting Ltd., a small family company owned on a fifty-fifty base by Hasan Simsek and Wilma de Haan-Simsek.
Hasan's passion for the sea and sailing goes back to 1974 when he started his education in the Turkish Navy., and from where he later retired after 12 years gaining the rank of Lieutenant.
Following our marriage we settled down in Gocek in 1989 and Hasan became base-manager for a well-known Turkish yacht charter company. For years he has also been the Gocek representative of the Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Rally.
