- I am Diana Shupe, CS, principal artist of Brushwork Studios, and have always had a passion for decorative arts. I come from a long line of painters in my family, and at an early age my talent was recognized and nurtured by my parents. Specializing in decorative arts in college, I earned a B.S. in Textile Design from Philadelphia University in 1985. Since that time, I have taken all that I have learned and honed my skills on painted surfaces. Taking up stenciling as a hobby in the early 90s, I soon became hooked and by 1994 I was working as a professional decorative artist.
