- Since 1977, Brown’s Harvest, a sixth generation family farm, has been committed to donating a good portion of its pumpkin harvest proceeds to numerous Connecticut charities. This year’s recipients include Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the FOX61 Family Fund and Mary’s Place, in addition, representatives from Alex’s Lemonade Stand will have a permanent presence at Brown’s Harvest throughout the month as both sides of Alex's family have either worked at the pumpkin patch or in the tobacco fields as teenagers.
