- About Brown Cancer Center
- The James Graham Brown Cancer Center was established in 1977 by a group of local citizens who recognized the need for a better cancer treatment facility in the Kentucky/Indiana region. They raised funds and formed an organization which they named The Regional Cancer Center Corporation Board. The James Graham Brown Center opened in 1981. The Center gained momentum in 1987 when it was incorporated into the University of Louisville.
