The Brokenrope Foundation was founded in 2004 by Nathan Brokenrope (Mdewakanton Sioux/Oglala) and Carol Anderson (Cherokee) providing a resource for those interested in the Native American Culture and welfare of the community. In an effort to serve American Indians we have held powwows, gatherings, film festivals, and other events to keep our culture(s) alive and vibrant. The Brokenrope Foundation is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit.
