For the vast majority of Americans, Friday marks the end of the workweek, which makes it the gateway to the weekend and all it brings: freedom, leisure time, family and friends. Those precious two days are ended all too soon by Friday's opposite, Monday, when people respond to the traditional question "How was your weekend?" with the now standard "Not long enough."
