- Photography wasn’t my deliberate choice of mediums for my creativity until I was well into my twenties. My younger sister had just purchased her first 35mm film camera and had enrolled herself into a local photography workshop. She would come home from class and show me the black and white prints that they had made. I could see in her then something that I wouldn’t recognize in myself until much later; satisfaction from a creative outlet.
