Linda Shoemaker and Steve Brett founded the Brett Family Foundation in 2000 to invest in the creation of a more compassionate and just society. Brett Family Foundation has an annual grantmaking budget of $500,000 and an endowment of $10 million. Our mission is to promote caring communities by investing in organizations throughout Colorado working for social justice, and Boulder County nonprofits addressing the needs of underserved communities, primarily disadvantaged youth and their families.
