Welcome to Breast Cancer Health.org. Following detection of breast cancer and its initial removal by surgery, either lumpectomy or mastectomy, adjuvant therapy is usually recommended to eliminate any microscopic traces of the cancer. It is our belief that patients who are educated about their disease can only benefit, not only in terms of treatment, but also in attitude and outlook. This site is intended to improve the lives of breast cancer patients and survivors and in that vein we're pleased to offer an educational series on the role of adjuvant therapy in breast cancer and the promise it holds for the future. The medical information presented here was created by doctors to help women with breast cancer in their battle against the disease.
