Description
BreakThru Films is a London-based prize-winning film and animation production company, producing feature length and shorts films. BreakThru's prizes include has won The Short Film Prize at The Cannes Film Festival, two British Academy Award nominations as well as The Sam Mendes Prize. Its productions have been well received worldwide. It has a broad range of both live action and CGI-animated films in development and pre-production including "Planet of the Winds" and "West of Eden".
BreakThru runs Stardust Animation Services in conjunction with Stardust Pictures, an animation service company. Stardust currently have several feature films in development including "Jekyll &Hyde" with Dino Athanassiou as a Director of Animation (Animation Director on soon-to-be-released "Happily Never After", the new CGI blockbuster from Shrek Producer John Williams.)
BreakThru has also recently established a Visual FX department which is currently producing the visual effects for the Edith Piaf biopic, "La Vie en Rose", and is currently looking for other projects to take on.
