Description
Braeswood Democrats was first organized informally in 1996, primarily by people involved in the campaign of U.S. Rep. Ken Bentsen. During that campaign, these Democrats saw a need for a coordinated effort in their extended neighborhood, an organization whose mission is to support Democratic candidates through campaign efforts and financial resources, to promote community involvement in behalf of traditional Democratic issues, and to provide a friendly social and networking environment for people involved in achieving worthy goals by political action through the Democratic Party.
