- Clifford De Poncey was born in an Arkansas canteloupe patch when his mother's water broke while chasing a runaway goat. His actual date of birth is unknown. Clifford's mother presented her son to the Fayette County General Hospital in May of 1971 as a newborn, when in fact the boy could already crawl. Being that his mother was simple and illiterate, she could not remember the date he was born, but she did remember stopping by the local 7-11 before arriving at the hospital.
