Everyone is intuitive. We all have stories about the times when we did and we didn’t follow through on a "hunch" or "feeling." Becoming proficient at using your intuition requires that you pay attention to, and act on "what your gut is telling you. " Like any skill, the more you practice and trust in yourself, the better it works for you. It requires your devotion, your focus and lots and lots of practice. MaryLee’s mantra is, "Trust your own intuition."
I first knew I was intuitive as a teenager. My mother and I used to play telepathic games. When I was out and she needed to get a hold of me – she would think, "Mary, call me." I would suddenly get the idea to call mom. During one of the most destructive tornados in Louisville’s history, Mom sat down and telepathically instructed each of her children to check in immediately, within fifteen minutes all six called home.
We often become what we play with, and this was to be the beginning of a life long intuitive journey. No one thinks when he or she is little that they are going to grow up to be a psychic. When I look back and evaluate my life, like it or not, this was the direction I was headed.
