Boston Carnival Village - Home of De Culture Warriors
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- Our motto and promise is to promote Boston carnival, the men and women who continue to keep it alive and in doing so, continue to make Boston Carnival what Macy’s Day parade is to New York City. In 1973 Ken Bonnaparte Mitchell and a group of Trinidadians residing in Boston came together and started the tradition of Boston's annual "Trinidad style" Carnival. Today it attract an estimated 500,000 visitors each year and continues to grow. When you visit our city for the 2008 season do not hesitate to put “ Streets of Color ” our first Photography exhibition on your calendar. Peace - De Culture Warrior Michael C. Smith
