History
Headed by founder and company president Arthur “Bud” Finlaw and originally operating as ReservationSystem.com, BookIt.com became incorporated in January 2000. BookIt.com was one of the first privately held corporations online to begin completing on a national and international scale in the travel industry. An independent corporation, BookIt.com was initially developed as a travel agency offering hotel, condo and vacation rentals in Florida. The company has since evolved its travel technology to include car rentals, flights, cruises and vacation packages throughout the United States, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.
