The Used Book Lover's Guide Series is an outgrowth of the couples' own romantic book hunting trips. Initially conceived as a "fun" retirement project, the Guides unexpectedly turned into a full time publishing business that has not only changed the Siegels' lives, but also the lives of book lovers everywhere.
Since beginning the Used Book Lover’s Guides, the Siegels have traveled over 100,000 miles and have visited thousands of used bookstores in the United States and Canada. Their Guides currently cover the entire United States and Canada and feature 8,000 used book dealers offering in excess of 200 million books.
To date, over 48,000 copies of the Used Book Lover’s Guides are in the hands of book collectors, specialty enthusiasts, book dealers and librarians around the world.
