About Us
Board Crazy have been around for years, although you may have originally known them as Belmont Sailboards. As the sport of windsurfing was joined by the fast-growing world of kitesurfing, the name needed a change. And since the crew at at Belmont Sailboards were crazy about their sailboarding and their kiteboarding, it became obvious that there was only one name to go with - Board Crazy.
Whilst operating as Belmont Sailboards, owner Andrew Regan used to design and make boards under the Caveman and Phil McGain Design brands, and was part of the Sailworks Research and Development program which helped develop the Regatta line of race sails.
Belmont Sailboards also organised trips overseas to popular windsurfing destinations such as Maui and Fiji, and was instrumental in the development of world-class sailboarders such as Stuey Martin and Greg (Cotto) Cotton, as well as Sam and Ben Fawkes.
