Description
The group was formed by Agah, Sidar ve Gurani in 2003 which shortly after joined by Aydin. In year 2004 the group took the name Bogazici(Bosphrous) and performed on their own and also accompanied the house singer about 4-5 hours every Friday and saturday nights at Turkuyem(Richview restaurant). Currently the band doesn't perform on regular basis but takes the stage at private or community parties, weddings, various events and festivals. The Bosphorous ensemble delivers to diffrent musical tastes and proud to be the one of it's kind in Toronto. They perform Turkish Folk, Classical, Pop, Ethnic, Sufi music and currently working on various project to create their own line of music.The group members also actively work for local non-profit organizations such Turkish Classical Music Choire, Anatolian dancers group, Music Galley and Jerrahi-Sufi music group.

2003 yilinda Agah, Sidar ve Gurani ile olusan yapiya daha sonra Aydin'in eklenmesi ile olusan grup 2004 yili icinde Bogazici Musiki Toplulugu adi ile toplanarak eski Turkuyem, yeni Richview restaurant da duzenli olarak her cuma, cumartesi aksami yaklasik 4-5 saat suren programlarinin yani sira ozel gunlerde cesitli dernek ve kuruluslar icin programlar yapti. Su anda kendi ozgun cizgisini yaratmaya calisan grup Turk Sanat muzigi, Halk, Ozgun(Protest) ve Etnik muzik icra etmekte gunumuzun populer parcalarindan da ornekler sunmaktadir.Bogazici uyeleri ayni zamanda Toronto Turk Klasik Sanat Muzigi Korosu, Anadolu Halk Oyunculari ve Music Gallery gibi cesitli dernek ve kuruluslar da gonullu olarak bireysel muzik calismalarini da surdurmektedirler.
