- Boetcher's Lift Truck Service Inc. is a family owned and operated business established in 1979 by Gary Boetcher under the name of Better Lift Truck Service. Gary a life long resident of Columbus, Ohio was employed for fourteen years as a field mechanic for Dravo Marks. He would travel weeks at a time doing field repairs at strip mines and road construction sites throughout the Eastern, Central and Southeastern United States. His primary responsibility was to repair at that time the largest production dozer in the world manufactured by Allis Chalmers. In July of 1979 he gave notice that he was leaving his employment to start his own company.
