BNT Chemicals was founded in 1998. The target was to erect a new facility to produce a wide range of alkylchlorides and tin-based chemicals in the Chemical-Park of Bitterfeld-Wolfen (see:
BNT Chemicals went in operation with its first products in the end of 2000 and has been started up stepwise in the meantime all other planned production lines. The production of BNT Chemicals is based on the modernest aspects of technology and is guided by a process leading systems.
One of the strengths of BNT Chemicals is the wide range of application fields of its products. For example our products are applicated in the glass industry for surface coating, in the production of PVC-tinstabilizers, as intermediates in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry, as catalyst for processing silicon sealents, polyurethane-foams and rubber systems, as important ingredient in electrodeposition paints and in the galvanic industry.
