- Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz interior design, Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz furniture design, Welcome to the Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz website. Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz believes that interiors should be elevated into living works of art environments in which the intrinsic human desire for comfort and beauty are naturally aligned. Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, named by House Beautiful as one of America's Most Brilliant Decorators for eight consecutive years, is recognized as one of the most stylish and influential of today's interior designers. Noriega-Ortiz earned two Master's Degrees in Architecture, one from Columbia University and another from the University of Puerto Rico, prior to beginning his professional career at John F. Saladino, Inc., where he spent nine years, six as Head Designer. Noriega-Ortiz's own firm, established in 1992, has produced numerous residential projects including two residences for Mexican author Laura Esquivel, a loft in New York for celebrity portrait photographer Mark Seliger and four residences for recording artist Lenny Kravitz. The firm has also produced several commercial works including Pikayo, the restaurant at the Museum of Art in San Juan, Puerto Rico, showroom displays for the Kohler Company headquarters, Kohler, Wisconsin and the lobby and private Wine Cellar tasting room of The Loft at 30 Crosby, in New York City. Among the current projects in development are: residences in Palm Beach, Miami Beach and New York City as the restaurant at Battery Park in NYC. BNO is presently designing his own line of furniture, rugs, lighting and home accessories. A special edited line will be available in his website BNOdesign.com at the end of the year. His work has been featured in a variety of publications worldwide including: Avenue, Architectural Digest, German AD, French AD, Russia AD, House & Garden South Africa, Town & Country, The New York Times Design Home Magazine, Departures, InStyle, Metropolitan Home, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, New York Magazine, both Hamptons and Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens and Interior Design, as well as German and Brazil Vogue, Architcktur & Wohnen, Caras de Puerto Rico, Imagen, German ELLE and Japan's Konishiwa. He has appeared in several television shows for HGTV, Style, Fine Living Network and E!. You can also find his work in books such as The New Classic Style, Sleeping Spaces, House Beautiful Great Style, Color Palette and East Coast Rooms
