About Us
Blue 88 was founded by a diverse group of veteran activists from across Ohio who possess a wealth of political experience and share a vision of reviving the Ohio Democratic Party—with your help—from the grassroots up.
Chris is from Cleveland and is an attorney in the Columbus office of a large, international law firm. During the 2004 election, he served as the statewide Volunteer Programs Director for America Coming Together in Ohio. Previously, he helped organize Howard Dean’s presidential campaign in Ohio, worked on the Clinton/Gore 1996 reelection campaign, and served as Issues and Research Director for Mary Boyle’s 1998 U.S. Senate campaign. He also worked for the Deputy Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice, clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Algenon L. Marbley, and served as research assistant to George Stephanopoulos. He got his start in politics as an intern for former Congressman Louis Stokes. Chris graduated from Columbia University and Stanford Law School.
Micah is from Columbus and currently serves as the Executive Director of Capital Law School’s Tobacco Public Policy Center. He served as Political Director of Eric Fingerhut’s 2004 U.S. Senate campaign, worked as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and was an associate at the Stinson Morrison Hecker law firm. Micah got his start in politics as an intern with the U.S. Department of Education and the Domestic Policy Council of the White House during the Clinton/Gore Administration. Micah is a graduate of Brandeis University and Stanford Law School.
