For over twenty years, Roy J.C. Jahn was a cornerstone in the hospitality industry in Athens, Georgia. Seeing a change in consumer desires in the early nineties, Roy decided to focus his talent using his degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. In 1998, Roy and his son, Robert Jahn, started Catering by Blooms of Holland, a full service event planning company. As Vice-President of Operations, Robert helped his father build Catering by Blooms of Holland into Athen's only complete event planner. In the Summer of 2002, Robert left the company in order to pursue a life in Charleston, South Carolina.
Upon the sudden passing of Roy in the Spring of 2004, Robert returned to his hometown of Athens to ensure the survival of his Father's vision of excellence. In conjunction with his Father's desire to focus on the catering business, Robert has created Jahn Events. Built on the foundations of Catering by Blooms of Holland, Jahn Events continues the legacy created by Roy Jahn in the special events industry.
