A new release has been posted on OpenNTF. The new release introduces a new cross browser rich text editor (and fixes some bugs).

HotText is a feature where the user can specify a list of words and matching URL's. When a new story has been saved and HotText processing is enabled in the Blog Configuration then the system will replace all occurrences of the HotText words with the URL, effectively turning them into HyperLinks on the fly. For example if I write BlogSphere then the word BlogSphere is replaced with a URL to the BlogSphere website. The same will happen if I enter Ed Brill or OpenNTF in the blog entry.

An option has also been added to the BlogRoll entries that can enable them to be HotText enabled thus adding them to the HotText word list. This is an easy way of referencing somebodies blog just by entering their name so if I write Declan Lynch then it will be turned into a link to my own website.
