BlackGreek.org is a Web 2.0 community based website. It was Created By Rashad Glover a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity inc. in Summer of 2007 as test community. Blackgreek.org was created to help African American Fraternities and sororities network faster and better. Also it was created so that jobs can easily be found in the black community once the network grew to larger proportions. Once Rashad Glover finished beta testing in December of 2007, he released it in its now full form to a couple of his friends at Central State University and Wilberforce University (the first black college)in Wilberforce Ohio .BlackGreek.org soon jumped to almost a 1,000 members in just two months and is still growing every day. Its features include Google maps of surrounding members (no addresses ),video uploads(Greek Tube), Profile pages like Facebook and Myspace, and music uploads. User can also search by job tile and zip code to see who's around them. Also feature a free classified section like Craigslist.com and eBay for free. BlackGreek.org also lets you post your events for free and shows a map of of where the events are on the website. All and all it a totally free networking website which the Black Greek community need for the last 100 years.
