- In 1969, a Dane named Aage A. Justesen established B&J Machine Works, Inc. in Scuffleton, NC. After living in the United States for just eleven years, Aage's first facility was an old grocery store with wooden floors. With five pieces of equipment and two employees, Aage grew his company by applying skill and dedication to new challenges. With help from his oldest son Jon, Aage built a long-standing reputation for excellence and versatility. Although Aage passed on in 1993, his sons have been carrying on the tradition.
