- Rosina started Jade‘n’Jewels in 2004 as an aid to recovery as part of a rehabilitation plan following illness. It took off beyond her expectations and she enlisted the help of Lesley in 2005. They traded on Fridays at the local market and held jewellery parties. By 2006 this grew to a point where they had to drop the parties and added to the days at the market. They are now at Barnstaple Pannier market on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Rosina teaches on Wednesdays from her home and does occasional teaching at her local community college. Between times they both try to keep up with demand for their handmade jewellery which has proven very popular with tourists and locals alike.
