Title
Bitterness of Life - Online Greetings for the Drastically Disillusioned
Description
Who's behind this?
Inquiring minds need to know: who's behind this bouillabaisse of bitterness? At the risk of incurring profound disappointment and a fresh bout of bitterness, here are three capsules of inconsequential biography, edited to protect the innocent:
Jim Coughenour is responsible for the cartoons, short short stories, puerile poetry and amateur animation. He grew up in the evangelical heartland of Indiana, studied in Berkeley, Boston, Washington DC and Chicago, only to end up in San Francisco. In the 1990s he created Daimonix, a line of Raw Art Greeting Cards, a few of which have found a digital afterlife on this site. He's also written and published occasional bits of fiction, poetry, criticism and austere academic cerebration – almost all of it instantly forgotten. His current day job is as a "user experience architect" and is just too tragic for reflection.
Richard Millan is our developer and programmer, responsible for whatever interactive elegance this site affords. Born and raised in Cuernavaca, Mexico, he went to college in Ohio, and launched his first career in San Francisco in 2005. His current passions are biking and meeting attractive young women.
