Description
The Bird Strike Association is a not-for-profit trade association representing the commercial bird-aircraft strike hazard management industry. The mission of the organization is to promote aviation safety through commercialization of bird strike management technologies, products and services. The BSA supports its membership through advocacy and informational programs designed to strengthen the industry by promoting fair and open competition and better awareness of the bird-aircraft strike issue. Current initiatives include the BSA informational website, public outreach, and efforts to reduce government agency competition with commercial providers of bird-aircraft strike management services.
Commercial providers of BASH related services, products and technologies are invited to submit an application for full membership in the BSA. Full membership is $250 per year. Membership benefits include general membership voting rights; daily (opt-in) e-mail news and strike alerts; our quarterly newsletter; and, a full service/product/technology listing on the BSA website with your logo and a photo.
Individual memberships are available to birdstrike management professionals and scientists. Individual membership is $50 per year and includes all services of the full membership without voting rights.
