Big Don Insurance was born in 2012 but the owner Don Dorst has been a licensed insurance agent since 1978.
After working as an agent for one major insurance company from December 1977 to June 2009, Don sold his agency. He decided that the independent agency system offered more and better choices for his customers. After working in agencies owned by his friends, Don opened Big Don Insurance. He was later joined by his long time associate and assistant Beth Wasik. Many of our preferred companies do not advertise heavily but instead pass the savings on to you. We are a full line agency specializing in home and auto insurance licensed in both Illinois and Indiana.
