Bibendum started life in 1982, serving Londoners with a wide range of wines from our converted flight petroleum garage in leafy Primrose Hill. Our service and range won friends from the outset, and our aims remain very much the same to this day: the right wine, in the right place, at the right price, at the right time.
Today Bibendum is still based in the converted garage, but has grown dramatically with equal parts energy, speed and enthusiasm, and now occupies a very special position in the UK wine trade. We have 120 staff, with an annual turnover in excess of £55 million.
We supply a large number of on trade customers, from small bistros to major restaurant chains, from tiny boutique hideaways to landmark city centre hotels. Caterers, sports venues, clubs and city companies are equally significant customers.
