- Summer is a time for road and track races and August brings a series of three evenings of BHAA racing at Irishtown Stadium. Each evening incorporates a series of races of the same distance, with runners grouped according to their BHAA standard. Thus, participants will be competing against runners of similar ability and pace. This makes for exciting races. People who have never won races before will win races. In addition, in the 3,000m races, there are prizes for adjusted times, where the actual time is reduced by a factor that depends on your BHAA standard. Click on "read more"...
