- Like a lot of people we bought a George Wimpey home and I suspect like many of them it is a descision I regret. I have developed this site to warn potential house buyers of what to expect if you buy a home from George Wimpey. My aim is to reduce the number of people having the same problems as I'm having and hopefully (I know this is wishful thinking) get wimpey to improve there standards of building and customer service. My advice dont buy one.
