Trudi King, director of Best of BVI Ltd, first visited the British Virgin Islands over 10 years ago when her brother and his family settled there after 'sailing around the world'. She has a real passion for the islands, and believes that many people in the world, especially in Europe, don't know they exist. "When anyone asked me where I was spending my vacation I would reply 'Tortola' and always received the same answer - 'Where?'. I then explained it was in the 'British Virgin Islands' and again still received the same reply. Finally, I said it was in the Caribbean and everyone seemed to know where that was!" Best of BVI aims to encourage more people from around the world to have the opportunity of visiting these beautiful islands.
Trudi has travelled to the British Virgin Islands for the last 10 years, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year and knows the area well, and not just from a tourist's point-of-view. Previously, Trudi worked as a manager in the publishing industry in the UK. This has given her the experience to be highly organised and excels in customer service, which in some companies can be lacking. "Customer service is paramount. I will bend over backwards to ensure my customers get the service they deserve, from renting a private villa or chartering a yacht. Even if they book a vacation through another company I would be more than happy to help with any information guests require about the islands".
