Berkeley Scientific Translation Service was founded in 1974 by a physicist and research engineer, Dr. Marlo Martin, and is located in downtown Berkeley a block from the University of California campus. Dr. Martin has worked professionally in the areas of microwave systems development at Siemens Electronics in Munich, surface science at U.C. Berkeley, renewable energy research at the U.C. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and materials research on silica aerogel materials.
