The Concept of the Bent River Brewing Company was conceived by Tim Koster of Koski's Home Brew Fixens. As a staunch defender of quality brewing, Koster was able to gather enough resounding support for his vision, and in 1997 Bent River Brewing Company opened its doors. Contrary to its name, Bent River was not able to brew beer when it first opened. Investors and regular patrons held their breath for over two years waiting for their dream to come true.
