- My name is Ben Chapman and I am an amature photographer on the Gold Coast developing my skills in the hope of eventually becoming a photographer who is able to produce amazing photos in any situation and under any conditions. My kit so far includes a Nikon D60 DSLR with 18-55mm and 70-200mm lenses, along with an Inca Tripod, remote shutter release, Hoya UV, Warm, and Circular Polarizing filters, and I use Adobe Photoshop CS4, Photomatix Pro 3, and Lightroom software packages for editing. I will be using this site over the next year to display my better photos as I continue to learn the full extent of my cameras abilities and develop my skills while I build my own gallery site for my photos by the middle of 2010, which by then my skills should be at a much higher standard. I am also hoping to do some trips to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth over the next couple of months to get more photos into my collection.
