The Bells Palsy Research Foundation, Inc's mission is to evaluate, inform and assist patients with past and or current history of Facial palsy, Bell’s palsy, Ramsay Hunt's syndrome, or Facial Paralysis from surgery, trauma, pregnancy, Lyme disease, multiple attacks, congenital or developmental palsy or other causes.
The Bells Palsy Research Foundation, Inc is devoted exclusively to providing the most advanced and highest quality of rehabilitative care available to patients with paralyzed facial muscle. We focus on strengthening, bulking, and retraining weakened facial muscle. Among our principal goals is the return of facial muscles of expression, symmetry and motor function.
We have extensive experience in the rehabilitation of paralyzed facial muscle. Our specialists are all licensed therapists specially trained in rehabilitation of facial nerve paralysis and have collectively treated more than 9,000 residual facial paralysis patients.

The Bells Palsy Research Foundation was served with a Cease and Desist order after Robert Targan, CEO, was arrested on February 8, 2007 and charged with:
• Four (4) counts of felony theft • Misdemeanor theft • Theft scheme • Unauthorized use of a credit card • Possession of another’s credit card number • Three (3) counts of practicing physical therapy without a license, and • Using the title “Dr.” to misrepresent oneself as a medical doctor
This may be verified at nearly a dozen different news sites from the DC area if one simply does an Internet search on Robert Targan.

The BPRF is a sham
Bob Targan has been arrested on 2/7/09 for fraud and practicing without a license, among other things. This feature should be removed because it was just a money-making scam all along. Go here to see for yourself: http://www.wjla.com/news/stories/0207/395742.html
