- My name is Ray Grier, I have had the nickname of "Tiny" for most of my life. I guess it was given to me because I'm such a little person "LOL". I have been drawing, I think, since I was born. That has been quite awhile ago. I didn't have any formal training in art, except in the Highschool art class. I guess you would say I am "self taught". The first I can remember drawing is about when I was 10 or 11 years old. I would copy the pictures from the coloring books, rearranging them to the way I like them and then coloring them. I didn't just color the way you would think, I would shade and highlight the picture to make it more real.
